Meet Musou Black's inspiration, the "VL Flock Sheet." It is a rayon-based fabric that has been electrostatically flocked with a low-gloss nylon pile. It achieves a higher light-absorption rate compared to Musou Black and it can be touched!

※ When viewed by the naked eye, each person's perception towards "blackness" may differ            depending on the lighting environment.

It's total reflectance rate in the visible light range is less than 0.5%, which is one of the lowest reflection rates among our products!

In addition, its price is lower than our Fineshut series, so it is cost effective for larger projects such as making a darkroom or as a black backdrop for photography.

However, as a drawback of the flocking process, little bits of dust may be generated due to fiber loss, so please be careful when applying it somewhere where cleanliness is a top priority or in internal parts of precision equipment. Furthermore, since it does not have infrared reflection suppressing properties, it may appear as black with a reddish tint when photographed with cameras with wide wavelength sensitivity.

※Although it is highly effective in preventing glare, we do not recommend using it as a vehicle interior material as there is no guarantee of flame retardancy.

※There is an area of about 20mm on the corners that are non-flocked and has punch holes. This area is excluded from the effective length of the 950mm measurement. 

※In the case of wrinkles or creases, applying steam from an iron WITHOUT directly touching the material may improve its condition.

※The base cloth is rayon-woven fabric.

Custom cuts can be made by laser or by punch press machine. In addition, we can accept parts and provide cut designing, processing, and pasting services.
