FAQ

Q: Can Musou Black be used as a car paint?

A: The simple answer is No. We do not recommend painting a car with Musou Black because the paint is fragile and the coating can easily be scratched/peeled off. Top or clear coats may improve its durability however this will decrease Musou Black's darkness. Simply put, Musou Black was never designed to be used as a car paint. If you would like to paint a car, we recommend to do it purely for display/entertainment purposes.

Q: Can I apply a top or clear coat on top of Musou Black?

A: Top or clear coats may improve Musou Black's durability, however this will decrease its "darkness" because light will reflect off of the top or clear coat. If you would like to maximize Musou Black's darkness, then the Musou Black coating needs to be the top layer.

Q: What can I do to improve Musou Black's durability?

A: Applying a primer beforehand will slightly improve Musou Black's adhesion, however the coating will still be fragile. We are currently researching methods to improve the paint's durability without affecting its darkness. Once we have found something, we will notify the public.

Q: Why is the shipping cost expensive?

A: Due to the current COVID-19 situation, we unfortunately can only use priority service for overseas shipping. We apologize for the inconvenience and wish for your understanding.

Q: How do I clean the VL/IR Flock Sheet?

A: We recommend cleaning our VL/IR Flock Sheet with an adhesive lint-roller or by dry-cleaning. We do not recommend washing as this will most likely decrease its performance.

Q: Can the flock sheets be used for clothing?

A: The material can be stitched so technically you can make clothing. However, our flock sheets are rayon-base fabrics and generally rayon fabrics are stiff and have no stretch. Also please note that we have not tried to make clothing using our flock sheets and that the flock sheets were not designed to be used for clothing.

Q: Can you lower my order's customs values or mark it as a gift?

A: No, we simply cannot do this.
